I have the Autumn Lust Have It Fashion & Beauty Box to show you today! If you haven't heard of this subscription before, it's a quarterly sub which offers 5-7 fashion accessories and beauty products for $35AUD + $2.95 postage. Each box is tailored to the season, includes on-trend accessories and the products within are usually $100 in value. I was pleased to find a mixture of darker hues and metallic accents in my Autumn box and I think you'll like them too! Here's what I received:
- Teeez Be Blushious - Bronzed Rose RRP $31AUD | Full size
- Teeez Chain of Stones Nail Lacquer - Gold Rush RRP $19USD | Full size
- Glazel Mineral Powder RRP $25AUD | Full size
- Coussinet Curb Link Cuff RRP $34.95AUD | Full size
- Voodoo Fashion Leggings RRP $39.95AUD | Full size
It's been a while since Teeez products popped up in my Lust Have It boxes but I'm really happy to see their return. I love the Be Blushious blush I received, it's in the shade Bronzed Rose which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It's warmer, darker and more dramatic than I would usually go for but that's exactly what I like about it - it's great to get outside of your comfort zone some times! It's beautifully pigmented, blends out really nicely and the lasting power is awesome too, wearing for around ten hours on me.
This Glazel Visage Mineral Powder looks nice enough, in a sturdy matte black compact with a generous mirror. Unfortunately it's far too dark for me - I received shade 6, which looks to be one of the medium shades in the range, and I usually wear the lightest option in most brands. I still firmly believe that Lust Have It should be offering their customers the ability to list their ideal shades in their account profile. Something as basic as being able to select their skintone, eye and hair colour would help with the influx of wildly off shades. That being said, I do wonder if Lust Have It are purchasing large random lots and don't have enough control over the included shades to select ones that would match each customer. I'm not sure what the logistics of creating a system to match their inventory with each customer profile would involve either. So maybe this the only way? I guess only Lust Have It have the answer!
Moving on from my musings, the other Teeez item in the Autumn FAB box was this pretty nail polish from the Chain of Stones collection. These polishes are available in a mixture of finishes, all intended to be on the glitzy side. I received Gold Rush which is an inky black jelly with gold glassfleck shimmer. It's a bit on the sheer side to allow the shimmer to show through, but is mostly opaque after three coats.
Another gripe - Lust Have It say this has a RRP of $19USD, but the price given on Teeez's website is $15USD. It's a small jump, but all the same, I'm getting annoyed with the elevated RRPs.
The accessories for this season's box were a pretty Coussinet curb link cuff, which I received in aqua blue. It's stretchy so you can slip it over your wrist easily without mucking around with clasps (I've always been useless at doing up wrist clasps!).
There was also a pair of Voodoo leggings, which are always a welcome addition in my wardrobe, especially in these colder months! Lately I've been wearing these leggings as tights under dresses with boots, they're a bit warmer than tights and they have a slimming, flattering fit.
