Hey lovelies,

I have a pretty and old school lipstick to show you for this MAC Monday. Stroke of Lust comes from the coveted Lure collection (2006). The lipsticks that came out with this collection still fetch a pretty penny from collectors on Ebay, blog sales and the like because of the gorgeous duochrome teal portion of the tube - which you may notice mine does not have! My friend Laura stumbled across it for an amazing price on MUABS but decided she didn't like the colour on herself and transferred it to a standard tube. And when she put it up for sale, as usual, I couldn't resist the chance to swatch a lipstick that's very hard to find a lip swatch for online :D Hopefully this post helps somebody looking for a swatch.

Stroke of Lust is a light blue toned pink with pearly sheen and larger particles of shimmer. It has a Lustre finish. I really like how creamy the pearly shimmer makes it appear when this shade could have so easily been a frosty eighties mess! It wears for just under four hours on me, but after the colour has disappeared a good amount of shimmer remains. Stroke of Lust has buildable but sheer colour pay off and is not drying.
