Kisses at Phat Camp & a FOTD

Hey lovelies,

I suppose technically it's Tuesday now as I am writing this up at 12:32AM but this is what I wore on Monday! Bright and colourful all round :)

OPI Kiss Me On My Tu-Lips is a gorgeous bright pink creme that I received from my workmate Alice in the office Secret Santa. She has excellent taste, this was on my wishlist! I applied 2 coats here.

Pretty & Polished - Phat Camp, 3 dabbed coats for reverse glitter gradient

Gosh, I love this combination. I got Phat Camp a while back in a mad panic when it was announced that it was being discontinued and had been looking forward to wearing it. I adore the way the turquoise glitter pops against the pink of the OPI. And the tiny speck of gold on my middle finger. And the larger purple glitter is shredded! So cool!

You may be wondering why there's no glitter macro, given my recent obsession. Well. I bought my wee camera that I've been taking the macros with to our team's Christmas do and it had an unfortunate incident with the deck of the boat we were on. No more macros for me :( I may replace it at some stage as I was enjoying the macros and Mike liked having a more accessible camera, but I'm not in a rush since I have my beloved Canon 400D.

One of my new tops in action, woohoo! I'm not 100% sure this peplum style suits me, but I shall persevere. Remind me to work on full outfit photos! And get a haircut. Yikes.

Finally found a nice spot to take face of the day photos. What a noob I am. I finally settled on the windowsill I do nail photos at. Window light = good! I can hear my high school photography teacher shaking his head at my slowness on this one.
Here is the make up I wore today. A neutral eye with winged liner to kick things up a notch (never fails to make me feel like a bad-ass), and one of my new Wet n Wild lippies (post on these is on its way!)

MAC Studio Sculpt foundation NC15
MAC Select Cover-Up concealer NW15
MAC Mighty Aphrodite blush
MAC Lightscapade MSF

Wet N Wild Comfort Zone palette (eyelid shade all over lid, browbone shade as highlight)
Sleek Original palette (bronze shade in crease and under lower lashline)

I wasn't sure about Pinkerbell when I first put it on - it was lighter than I anticipated. But as the day wore on and I got used to it, I fell in love. A great and unique addition to my stash! No lipliner required either!

Going with the pink theme today, I also had pink shoes and neon pink belt with my peplum top. It made me very cheerful!

Have a lovely day :)
