Hi lovelies,

So on Thursday I popped out to run some messages and look for more brow gel and base coat. Here's what I came away with:

Well, at least I got the things I went for, right? :P
  • Butter London Disco Biscuit - $21.66 at Farmers Lambton Quay (30% off red dot clearance)
  • Sally Hansen Hard As Nails - $10.35 (10% off at Farmers)
  • Revlon Brow Styling Gel (highly recommend, this is a repurchase, better than MAC's) $8 at Postie
  • ZA Lipgloss - $5 at Unichem (I think) on Willis St
  • OPI Alpine Snow mini - $5 at Unichem (maybe? I have no memory for pharmacy names) in Kilbirnie
  • Finally, the fruit shaped glosses are for an international swap!
I've been wanting to try OPI Alpine Snow forever in my quest for the perfect white. I grabbed the mini so that I don't have to fork out for the full size bottle in case it doesn't work for me :)

I'm almost out of my beloved Essie Fill the Gap! so I've been hunting for a base coat that won't break the bank until I can get splurge on a replacement. We'll see how Hard As Nails go - it makes a lot of promises, and my nails are so weak!

The ZA gloss was an impulse buy to temporarily sate my lust for Lime Crime Snowsicle. Snowsicle and Present will be mine! I see a large Lime Crime order in my future, my wishlist is getting ridiculous. It smells like roses, which I'm not sure I like in a lipgloss, but I'm still looking forward to layering it over a red lip.

Glittaaaaaaaaaa. I'm so excited and happy to finally have Disco Biscuit. I've wanted it since it first came out, but refused to pay the NZ retail price of $30.95. Then Gracie Lou had it for $20 for awhile but I could never work it into my budget at Christmas time - and when I finally could it had sold out. Sob! There was no way I was letting it get away when I found it at Farmers today.

Finally, here is my make up on Thursday. Gosh, I need to dig out my YSL Touche Eclat. I look TIRED. Hopefully my lips made up for the dark circles! My lovely friend Leanne has lent me a few of her OCC lip tars to try out, as I've always wanted some but hadn't yet ordered any for some reason. This is the first one I've tried, and I'm definitely more eager than ever to order some now! Perhaps Leanne and I can do a joint order. It's a pity OCC doesn't ship polish internationally :(

I'm wearing Queen here, and I love it. I always thought the liquid lipstick might be a pain, but I actually enjoyed that I could get a precise lip with minimal product.

Wear time was good; Queen wore really well through drinking, talking and snacking. It wore away towards the centre of my lips after a dinner of masala rice and roti, but I'd expect that from any lipstick as they were oily foods.

Can't wait to have my very own tube of this!
